Accounting and Financial Women's Alliance
The mission of the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance is to enable women in accounting and finance fields to achieve their full potential and to contribute to their profession. As a student chapter, we achieve this mission by providing opportunities for our members to interact with female professionals in the industry, hosting educational events such as our financial literacy program and book club, and offering an abundance of leadership opportunities. As the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance, we want to build the largest nationwide network of women in accounting and finance and enable them to achieve their full potential and to contribute to their profession. We hope to expand our members’ leadership skills and network to help them progress further during their careers, and as a national organization, we are well equipped to achieve these goals. Students of all genders are encouraged to join.

Beta Alpha Psi (Accounting Honorary Society)
Beta Alpha Psi is a national scholastic honors fraternity for accounting, financial, and information systems professionals. Events hosted throughout the year includes professional presentations, an internship panel, and an initiation ceremony. Beta Alpha Psi also participates in a variety of social and service activities. Corporate recruiters realize the significance and benefit of Beta Alpha Psi and pursue active members for employment opportunities.
Membership requires students to have a declared major in accounting, finance or information systems, completed a minimum of 60 hours, including at least one upper-level major course, and have both a cumulative and major grade point average of 3.0/4.0. Students are eligible for pledge status after completing 30 semester hours with a minimum 3.0-grade point average.

Business Information Systems Club
- The Business Information Systems (BIS) Club consists of business students interested in enhancing their technological skills and preparing for future careers in the BIS field. The BIS club regularly conducts meetings, hosts professional events and participates in community and fundraising activities. This club has always had a great turnout of professionals at their events. An annual banquet is held where faculty and professionals gather to meet and discuss BIS issues with students. Great networking and leadership opportunities are available.

NABA (National Association of Black Accountants, Inc.)
In December 1969, nine African-Americans met in New York City to discuss the unique challenges and limited opportunities they faced in the accounting profession. In that year, there were only 136 African-American Certified Public Accountants (CPA's) out of a total of 100,000 in the United States. This group wanted to establish an organization to address the concerns of minorities entering the accounting profession and to make a commitment to professional and academic excellence. The mission of NABA, Inc. is to address the professional needs of its members and to build leaders that shape the future of the accounting and finance profession with an unfaltering commitment to inspire the same in their successors.
The Association shall unite through membership accountants, finance and business related professionals and students who have similar interests and ideals, are committed to professional and academic excellence, possess a sense of professional and civic responsibility, and are concerned with enhancing opportunities for minorities in the accounting, finance and business related professions.

The purpose of this organization, Student Accounting Society, is to provide our members with a social environment which enhances their professional and personal skills.
We promote involvement from all academic disciplines and offer networking and peer relationships. Introducing students to community involvement, different career paths, and teamwork, we continually give our members the opportunity for growth.

Business ACUMEN is an all-inclusive community of culturally diverse, ambitious, and hard-working individuals aiming to lift each other up to succeed professionally and personally. ACUMEN Membership is open to all College of Business Majors who maintain the required GPA for their major.

Alpha Kappa Psi

Beta Gamma Sigma
Beta Gamma Sigma is the national scholastic honor society in the field of business recognized by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. A formal induction ceremony is held each spring to recognize the scholastic achievements of individual students. To be eligible for membership, students' academic rankings must place them in the upper 10 percent of the sophomore class, upper 10 percent of the junior class, upper 10 percent of the senior class, or upper 20 percent of the graduate/master class. The ISU Chapter was named a chapter with the highest honors in 2019.

Business Week
Business Week offers engaging, authentic and professional opportunities that enable students to interact closely with alumni, employers and industry thought leaders as they develop essential soft skills and understandings required for success. Leadership, corporate social responsibility, business etiquette, effective networking, goal setting, communication and career management are among the topics addressed through the week long series of interactive events.
Through a week-long series of events, corporate and industry leaders interact with students, share specialized expertise and explore important issues and cutting-edge developments. Business Week allows speakers to address broader topics such as educational preparation, leadership, service, etiquette, networking, goal setting, and career advancement. Business Week is managed by a student led committee with guidance from professional staff in the College of Business.

Delta Sigma Pi
Delta Sigma Pi (Co-ed Professional Business Fraternity)
Delta Sigma Pi is a coed professional business fraternity that provides extensive professional, community service, fundraising, and social programs. Students have the opportunity to obtain a great reputation with the community, campus and professional industry, while making some of the greatest friends one will ever have. DSP believes in success and continued education. This is a highly involved and very interactive organization. All business and economic majors that have at least 3 semesters remaining and at least a 2.5 GPA are eligible for membership. Delta Sigma Pi was named the 2005-2006 ISU Student Organization of the Year.

Phi Beta Lambda
Phi Beta Lambda is a co-ed career and technical organization affiliated with the Future Business Leaders of America, we are the college division. Phi Beta Lambda at ISU is an opportunity for students to develop their leadership skills through philanthropic, social, and fundraising opportunities. Phi Gamma Nu
Phi Gamma Nu is a coed professional business fraternity that strives to promote its three pillars: professional, philanthropy, and social. The Delta Chi Chapter was founded on April of 2014 making it the newest business fraternity on campus. We aim for excellence and the need to enhance our professional development through resume critiques, mock interviews, and networking with surrounding companies and alumni. Phi Gamma Nu believes in the civic responsibility to organize and participate in community outreach, volunteering, and raising money for local charities. We also emphasize on the importance of brotherhood within our chapter by encouraging leadership and forming lifelong bonds with one another.
Phi Gamma Nu prides ourselves as a diverse membership by accepting all majors. To join Phi Gamma Nu in the Fall or Spring, students must at least 3 semesters remaining and at least 2.65 GPA.

Pi Sigma Epsilon
Pi Sigma Epsilon is a Co-Ed Professional Business Fraternity for students and industry professionals in Sales, Marketing, and Management. Although skills in those subjects are emphasized, PSE also focuses on professional development, brotherhood, community service, and more, which is why we are open to all majors. We have many opportunities outside of sales, marketing, and management, with leadership roles ranging from Finance to Human Resources. Since 1992, the Delta Omega chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon has been shaping its members into professionals that are ready to tackle the workforce once their time as a collegiate member comes to an end. Throughout the year, our members work on a variety of different projects to promote the growth and development of our chapter. Our members have opportunities to participate in professional skill-building workshops (public speaking, resume-critique, etc.) and competitions to help them achieve their goals during and after their collegiate careers. We also hold numerous brotherhood/social activities to form bonds among our members.

Women in Business is a registered student organization at Illinois State University that strives to be the leading group of women on campus. Together, we continuously grow to become successful professionals, as well as mindful and courageous women. Women in Business is an organization, network, and community of female students dedicated to their empowerment and education. Women in Business is committed to the growth and expansion of professional and personal opportunities for its members, with a focus on business, leadership, and female celebration, and innovation.
Within this supportive network of collegiate women, we proactively prepare for the current trends in the workplace as well as empower our members to seek involvement in the community and opportunities for growth.
