The purpose of this organization shall be to promote scholarship and accomplishment in business and non-business Finance (including, but not necessarily limited to, the areas of banking, investment, and corporate finance) among undergraduate and graduate students; to provide a forum for association among college students actively interested in these fields; and to further knowledge of careers and facilitate communication between business executives and students of Finance through field trips, speaker presentations, and other educational activities.

Financial Planning Association of Illinois State (FPAIS) facilitates learning about the personal financial planning process and career paths in personal financial planning—as well as helping students learn to make smart, financially literate, decisions with their money. Membership is open to all undergraduate and graduate students at Illinois State University. FPAIS provides a way for financial planning students and others to network, learn from each other and RSO guests. Meetings regular have financial planning professionals speak and interact with RSO members.

Gamma Iota Sigma is an educational organization and is the only international business fraternity for students of insurance, risk management and actuarial science.Since its incorporation in 1965, GIS has chartered 75 chapters across North America and boasts an annual membership of more than 4,000 students and an alumni population of over 25,000. The purpose of this fraternity is to promote, encourage, and sustain student interest in insurance, risk management, and actuarial science as professions; to encourage the high moral and scholastic attainments of its members; and to facilitate interaction of educational institutions and industry through networking and by fostering research activities, scholarship, and improved public relations.

Beta Gamma Sigma is the national scholastic honor society in the field of business recognized by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. A formal induction ceremony is held each spring to recognize the scholastic achievements of individual students. To be eligible for membership, students' academic rankings must place them in the upper 10 percent of the sophomore class, upper 10 percent of the junior class, upper 10 percent of the senior class, or upper 20 percent of the graduate/master class. The ISU Chapter was named a chapter with the highest honors in 2019.

Through a week-long series of events, corporate and industry leaders interact with students, share specialized expertise and explore important issues and cutting-edge developments. Business Week allows speakers to address broader topics such as educational preparation, leadership, service, etiquette, networking, goal setting, and career advancement. Business Week is managed by a student led committee with guidance from professional staff in the College of Business.

Delta Sigma Pi is a coed professional business fraternity that provides extensive professional, community service, fundraising, and social programs. Students have the opportunity to obtain a great reputation with the community, campus and professional industry, while making some of the greatest friends one will ever have. DSP believes in success and continued education. This is a highly involved and very interactive organization. All business and economic majors that have at least 3 semesters remaining and at least a 2.5 GPA are eligible for membership. Phi Gamma Nu is a coed professional business fraternity that strives to promote its three pillars: professional, philanthropy, and social. The Delta Chi Chapter was founded on April of 2014 making it the newest business fraternity on campus. We aim for excellence and the need to enhance our professional development through resume critiques, mock interviews, and networking with surrounding companies and alumni. Pi Sigma Epsilon is a Co-Ed Professional Business Fraternity for students and industry professionals in Sales, Marketing, and Management. Although skills in those subjects are emphasized, PSE also focuses on professional development, brotherhood, community service, and more, which is why we are open to all majors. We have many opportunities outside of sales, marketing, and management, with leadership roles ranging from Finance to Human Resources. Since 1992, the Delta Omega chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon has been shaping its members into professionals that are ready to tackle the workforce once their time as a collegiate member comes to an end. Throughout the year, our members work on a variety of different projects to promote the growth and development of our chapter. Our members have opportunities to participate in professional skill-building workshops (public speaking, resume-critique, etc.) and competitions to help them achieve their goals during and after their collegiate careers. We also hold numerous brotherhood/social activities to form bonds among our members.
