A limited number of graduate research assistantships are available in the Department of Accounting.
Graduate research assistants receive a tuition waiver plus a monthly stipend for working with a faculty member(s) for 10 or 20 hours per week. The monthly stipend varies depending on the number of hours worked per week. Students holding a graduate research assistantship anytime during the academic year are also entitled to a tuition waiver during the summer session.
The minimum academic requirements for a graduate research assistantship are a B average for the last 60 semester hours of undergraduate course work and maintaining a B average for all course work each semester. Graduate research assistants must enroll in course work of at least 9 credit hours.
