- Access your email and files from anywhere, on any device
- Store your files in the University-connected OneDrive cloud, for anywhere-access to your stuff
- Download the latest version of Microsoft Office for installation on your laptop or desktop computer
- Install the Microsoft Office App on your mobile devices
- Access Microsoft Office Online (a simplified version of Microsoft Office) even on systems that do not have Microsoft Office installed.
Logging in
When you log in to office365.illinoisstate.edu, enter your email address as your ULID@ilstu.edu. Use the same password as for every other campus resource.
When you are at your desktop computer, you will use Outlook to access email just like always. When on a borrowed computer, simply log in to office365.illinoisstate.edu and click on Mail.
OneDrive
You can store files in OneDrive, accessing them directly on your local computer, or through the web. One of the handiest features of OneDrive is the ability to share a file with other people. Click on Share, enter the ULID of the other person or persons, and grant them Read-Only or Edit privileges. This is super-useful for team or committee work. Just be aware that you shouldn't handle confidential information (such as students' grades) in this way.
