The Graduate Certificate in Organizational Leadership provides opportunities for those who wish to acquire the knowledge and skills to grow as organizational leaders. The program is designed for individuals who looking for a more intensive leadership development experience.
The Graduate Certificate is a graduate-level program (all courses are MBA courses) that incorporates both academic rigor as well as practical workplace application. Individuals applying to the program must be accepted as graduate students of Illinois State University. The Graduate Certificate is awarded by Illinois State University upon successful completion of the program. In addition, course credit earned in the certificate program may transfer to other graduate degree programs.
All courses will be taught by full-time faculty in the College of Business. In addition to their academic credentials and expertise, these faculty possess significant industry and organizational expertise as well.
COURSESThe program has a 12-hour requirement as outlined below. The certificate may be completed in either one academic year or in two academic years. To review courses descriptions or to see the one-year and two-year courses of study, click here.
