REDBIRD CAREER PORTFOLIO
The Redbird Career Portfolio (RCP) is a certificate program designed to teach the professionalism skills needed for a successful career by allowing students to participate in a variety of experiential learning activities beginning in his or her freshman year and continuing through their senior year.
IS THIS REDBIRD CAREER PORTFOLIO PROGRAM REQUIRED?
No, is not required by the College of Business. The program is a way for students to set themselves apart by becoming active on campus, and to show that they have an interest in personal development.
WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE INCLUDED IN THE REDBIRD CAREER PORTFOLIO?
There are four levels in the Redbird Career Portfolio (RCP). Each level includes multiple activities that vary from year to year. Activities may include videos, in-person events, educational material, interactions, and written reflections. This brochure has a list of Redbird Career Portfolio (RCP) activities.
WHAT IF A STUDENT DOESN’T COMPLETE ALL OF THE ACHIEVEMENTS?
We do our best to make sure students have an opportunity to complete all their RCP activities The goal is to continue to move up to Level 4.
WHAT ARE SUITABLE AND MENTORCLOUD?
Suitable and MentorCloud are both online software platforms that the Redbird Career Portfolio (RCP) uses to help you navigate through the Redbird Career Portfolio.
Suitable organizes the activities involved in RCP. MentorCloud is a platform used to help mentors connect with new students in order to assist them with their transition to campus and to provide advice on teachers, majors, etc.
CAN STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IF THEY DO NOT WANT TO COMPLETE ALL OF THE ACHIEVEMENTS?
Of course you can. Students are encouraged to participate in as many activities as they’d like. You can work through the levels however you like.

IS THIS AVAILABLE TO TRANSFER STUDENTS OR STUDENTS WHO CHANGE THEIR MAJOR?
Yes, the RCP is available to transfer students or students who change their major. Students have access to all of the levels and their corresponding activities.
