In Person Meet the Firms 

Career/Internship Fair & Networking for Finance, Financial Planning, and RMI

This Fall, the Illinois State University Department of Finance, Insurance, & Law and the Institute for Financial Planning & Analysis are proud to host an IN PERSON Meet the Firms to be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm in the Prairie Room of the Bone Student Center.

Company representatives will have the opportunity to interact with students who are interested in pursuing careers in all areas of finance and financial planning. Cost is $100 for companies looking to hire students.  (The registration fees are used to offset the costs of the event.  Any additional funds will be used to support students - including costs associated with attending industry conferences and/or scholarships for student case competitions.)  Companies not currently hiring that are interested in networking with our students are also welcome to attend free of charge.  

• The Finance program at Illinois State University emphasizes effective teaching and student involvement in the educational process, with special attention to the concept of linking theory with financial practice. 
• The CFP Board Registered Financial Planning minor at ISU gives students the skills to help individuals and families navigate the complex landscape of personal finance.
