Management Sequences

Management Sequences

The Department of Management & Quantitative Methods offers programs of study in three different management fields. Upper level courses in each program are designed to provide students with hands-on experience and involve working with real client projects.

Management - Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management

The entrepreneurship and small business management sequence offers a unique learning experience to students who aspire to start businesses or obtain employment in growth-oriented small businesses

Management - Human Resource Management

The human resource management (HRM) sequence emphasizes effective, leading-edge human resources management in all organizational settings. The purpose of the sequence is to provide students with skills and knowledge in human resource management consistent with the current needs of organizations. Students electing this sequence will acquire specific, in-depth skills necessary to assist organizations in the effective utilization of employee skills and talents.

Management - Organizational Leadership

The organizational leadership sequence helps students develop those skills and aptitudes necessary for success and leadership positions in business and not-for-profit organizations in the 21st century. The development of one's skills working with people and groups as well as decision making is at the focus of this program of study. Since the sequence focuses on these people skills and decision-making abilities, it is applicable to a wide or general range of companies and managers.
