Certificate Programs

The Katie School Certificate Programs are designed to develop competencies for a particular position. These courses range in duration from one day to several weeks depending on the position certification. The courses range in price depending on the customers' needs.

Professional Insurance Sales Associate (PISA) certification program

This program was developed jointly with the Katie School and the Professional Sales Institute at Illinois State. The program aims to help agencies develop their producers. It is designed to give agents the fundamentals of consultative selling combined with real-world examples of best practices of successful agents. The program is structured to provide a one week, on-campus training program followed by eight weeks of in-office work with online sales management.

The eight week in-office experience is followed by a four-day on-campus program focusing on helping agents to maximize their skills and overcome the obstacles they have encountered in the previous eight weeks. Agents will continue to be monitored after the program is completed to make sure they are effective in implementing what they have learned in the program.

This course is only offered on campus at Illinois State University.
